Support & FAQ
We're here to help.
iHomeMap requires an iPhone or iPad with a LiDAR Scanner running iOS 16 or later. LiDAR is available on: iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, 14 Pro, 15 Pro (all variants), iPad Pro (2020 and later). Standard iPhone models do not have LiDAR and are not supported for scanning.
Yes — scanning and manual correction are completely free with no limits. Credits are only required when you export a floor plan as a PDF. The 3D USDZ model preview inside the app is always free.
Each PDF export costs $4.99 CAD, purchased directly through the App Store as an in-app purchase. There are no subscriptions or bundles — you pay per export, only when you need one. For high-volume needs, contact us about enterprise pricing.
iHomeMap uses Apple's RoomPlan framework which is accurate to within a few centimetres on most surfaces. Accuracy can be reduced by highly reflective surfaces (mirrors, glass), very dark rooms, or rooms smaller than ~2m × 2m. The manual correction tools let you fine-tune any measurement after scanning.
Yes. Create a property, add as many floors as needed, then scan each room within each floor. Each floor's scans are combined into a single PDF export. You use one credit per floor-level PDF export.
All scan data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. Nothing is uploaded to external servers. Your floor plan data stays private on your phone.
Email us at support@ihomemap.com with a description of the issue and the device model you're using (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro). Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find the iHomeMap purchase, and select "Request a Refund." Apple typically processes refund requests within 48 hours.
Yes — all scanning and correction works fully offline. An internet connection is only required to purchase PDF export credits through the App Store.
